The site is up and running, so you'd think they'd have team samples ready. Not sure.

Hey, maybe he means 29 as in rim width. AKA how Sun names their models. Or is that just silly?

Did spell-check autocorrect sexy into creepy and incredibly into SLIGHT? I know. Ethan is meant for the runway.

Why are you charging $50 for a USED GRINDING chain?
  • + 1 props
(Nov 19, 2009 at 13:35) (Below Threshold) show comment
So why does the weight of the chain stop the cranks from spinning?

Really. And why do 24" frames have shorter headtubes?

Can you explain why the length of the steertube limits what size wheel you can put on please?

I originally had a 2.3" Specialized Rhythm Lite, and a halflink in the chain. I took this old 1.95" Small Block, shaved it down on the side, and put it in, sans halflink.

Well that's what I thought, but it seems only Superco and Candida cheat like that. Man I would kill for a Tubagra. Knock a whole inch off my CS length.

Dayumn. I guess I'll keep buying skinny tires and trimming them. I really don't understand how companies like Tonic and Tubagra can put out frames with 13.9"-14.5" stays and clear a 26" wheel. I may take you up on that if I run into problems in the future. Thanks.

It's sitting at around 14.8" right now I am pretty sure. It shouldn't be this tight. I would think that the combination of 29mm rim (729) and 1.95" tire with literally no tread would make for a lower profile, but apparently I'm wrong. Am I wrong in that assumption or what?

Yeah, I really don't understand why it's so tight. 1.95" rear tire on a wide-ass rim, you'd think it would have a ton of clearance.

Nah B I got mad side clearance. Because I trimmed the side knobs down. It does fine on dirt, I rode dirt on Saturday. No tread = no dirt getting picked up.

Still on the front, I still think it's a better tire. But even though the Majesty clears it side to side, it's too tall to slam in the dropouts. So I put this narrow-ass tire, which is spread out by my rim and clears the frame in all directions.
